Hello World Wide Viewers,

Today I visited the Intrepid Space Museum and went on the Concorde exhibit.

Also, I got to close the Concorde door!

Here are my photo highlights!

British Airways IT Failure - An Apology from BA

Hello Global Viewers,

I recently checked my e-mails and noticed that I received an apology from British Airways's CEO Alex Cruz.

The e-mail was in relation to the global IT failure which disrupted flights and had a knock on effect with flights days later. My flight, as I have said in another blogpost, was delayed due to a technical reason; the fuel gage was showing a false level of fuel. We were delayed but we were still able to fly which was a huge relief!

Here is the message below

Leave a comment if you received or did not receive an apology if you were flying with BA.

New York City - Day One

Hello Everyone,

Today I spent my first day in NYC!

We spent a lot of time shopping as the day was very rainy.

Some of the shops I visited were: Hersey World, M&M World, Sephora, MAC, Inglot, Café bene, The Food Emporium, Lego Store at the Rockefeller Plaza and many more shops and places.

Here are some pictures below!

New York - I made it!

I travelled with British Airways on Sunday the 28th of May 2017.

Our flight was delayed due to a technical fault as the flight deck could not read the fuel gage accurately.

After the flight took off, we were given an include meal and drink service. The crew then did a duty free service.

I then went to talk to the cabin crew about their job and also got to complete a tray drink service.
I learnt how to deliver customer service to both World Traveller and World Traveller Plus.

When we arrived at JFK, we disembarked the Boeing 777 and walked through the bridge and followed the sigs for passport control.

As I was a returning ESTA, it meant that I could use a quicker queue to enter the US.

You use a special machine that scans your passport and then you answer some questions, then at the end of the process you receive a receipt (or reference). You then show thi…

British Airways IT Failure: Update

Hello Everyone,

I am travelling to New York (JFK) from Heathrow (LHR) terminal five.

British Airways are aiming to resume most flights after the global IT crash.
Passengers who were booked on these flights experienced anger as BA did not inform them the needed information.

Many passengers today will be joined by those on yesterdays flight if their is enough space in the cabin. The airline urges all passengers throughout the day to check on their flight status; today my flight was delayed (last I checked!).

Please note, I just tried to use the 'flight tracker' and it said that it could not work that function; I hope it works for my fellow passengers.

I will be blogging later as I reach the USA @ 6 pm their time!

Blog Soon,

Here is my latest travel journey... enjoy!

Thorpeness 2017

Hello Everyone,

On the 11th of February 2017, my family and I travelled to Thorpeness to enjoy the cold and very windy UK coast.

The Hotel was okay however for dinner one night they laid the table with flower petals as it was my parents anniversary, this was a very nice touch.

Breakfast was very good with a selection of continental and a cooked items such as a Full English Breakfast to Toast and Cereals.

We only stayed for the weekend and visited Aldeburgh to do some shopping and see the shell sculpture on the beach.

Which place to visit next?

South Africa 2016

British Airways

South Africa March 2016

Hi Everyone,

I travelled to South Africa earlier this year from British Airways from Heathrow 'The home of BA'.
The cabin crew were amazing and I spent a lot of the flight talking to Lauren. She is an asset to the company and is new to the flying community. The new aircraft BA have ordered is the A380-800 this aircraft is spacious and the services the airline offer are amazing.

See you on my travels soon!
