Hi Everyone, Yesterday I was given the opportunity to visit TUI Airlines crew room and hangar at LTN Airport. I had an amazing time meeting the crew that were taxiing to BHX to then fly out to Corfu and then Corfu to London Luton. All the staff at TUI are so passionate about on board safety and security and I even got to be involved in the pre-flight briefing! It was so interesting to learn about where the crew report and how they transfer from one base to the other. I then got to meet one of the TUI hangar staff who, last year had been cabin crew based out of LTN. The hangar is airside as you have access to the runway so I took my passport! The hanger can hold up to 3 to 4 aircraft at a time and before I had been in the TUI Dreamliner (Boeing B787) was there; I had missed it by an hour. The aircraft in the hangar were two B737 and one B757. All of these aircraft had been stripped down for maintenance and were having new carpets and seats re-fitted. The aircraft doors were
